I don’t believe that’s the case…? I’ve always observed it being lower/it’s often recommended to file jointly to get a lower tax rate. This is USA anyway
Thistil Mistil Kistil is a comic about vikings, Norse gods, and their adventures together (or against each other). Updates are on Tyr’s Day and Thor’s Day.
“For the tax breaks”?
Does Loki even have taxable income? I´d figure he´s more likely to be taxed per shenanigan, for annoying the Aesir.
I think he could probably claim to be tax-exempt on account of being a religion.
I believe Loki’s usual punishment for annoying the Æsir is being made to fix the problems he creates. Because no one else can.
Pretty sure the no tax on religion isn’t a global rule.
Like that’d stop Loki from claiming it.
Maybe that’s how they got him under control. Shenanigan tax.
I know there will be a different reason, but one I’ll go with is that it’d be pointless and dangerous to utterly conceal the fact he had a new wife.
There’s no “new” wife because Sigyn is the only woman he officially married. :3
There aren’t any… Although I guess the kids would be deductions. But married people often pay more tax than when they were single.

I’m never making a tax joke again.
