Odin being quite the hypocrite, having at least one important son born out of wedlock, treating with the Vanir and jotnar regularly, and… Okay got me on dancing, can’t think of a story where he’s ever done that. And also yeah the sexism kinda tracks.
Indeed, and I truly hope it won’t as well, but dude has a point about the objects. However, it was never explained what Coal was meant to do with said objects, just ….to find them.
A further archive dig found mention that Coal can’t just take them, as they are somehow bound to the holders by now. I would guess from the fact that Odin found beserking ‘worthy’ that he expected Coal to simply kill the holder to obtain the pieces.
Or so Loki claimed at the time. He is supposed to be the great trickster God, though, so I don’t know if Coal should blindly trust that. I have been assuming that Loki has been secretly nudging Coal along in some clever long-game tricky plan. I still don’t know what that plan is, but I am willing to bet it’s not 100% aligned with Odin’s goals.
Typo alert: Panel five [pieces in your GASP]
What exactly was Odin expecting when he tasked Loki with guiding Coal? I mean, seriously, dude… you´re supposed to be the wisest of the Aesir!

“Your quest should be over”? I hope this does not mean this comic is ending soon!

To be fair, it should have been quite clear to Coal that Odin meant “find them *and bring them back*”, not just “find them”.

Mad, and also kind of a jerk.
