He’s wearing viking-era tinted contact lenses, obviously. Very labor intensive to make. They weigh several ounces each, and were painful to wear. It’s unsurprising they never caught on.
Hedda is pretty brave, squishing a MIGHTY VIKING WARRIOR just like *that*
