A very tactful choice on Hedda’s part to save the observation that his eyes just changed color for later.
If she’d said “I forgive you, but why did your eyes just change color?” it would have ruined the moment. 🙂
She actually hasn’t seen his eyes yet. He’s looking away and when he looks back at her then she looks away, lol. She’s not great at meeting people’s eyes.
That works too. Being unaware can sometimes be a good substitute for self control.
He’s becoming more human, acting like this.
Which is actually beautifully ironic when you think about it.

Great work Coal, takes a bigger person to admit one has been in the wrong and to apologize for ones actions.
