I love that the, seemingly, more comforting face is the one with the inverted, inhuman eyes. Enough to at least get Coal’s attention. I hope he doesn’t attack the others in his berserk rage.
Is Loki’s magic just undoing his eyes, or is he trying to Charm Speak Coal into calmness? Because if it’s the latter, that shaky spear might not bode well for Geirr
He’s just shifting his eyes for a bit. Loki’s magic is only good for shape-changing, he can’t cast charm magic like that. He’s just naturally charming. ;D

Loki will try anything to get Coal to snap out of it. Luckily Ibrahim can’t see him lol.
Phew, right on time. Now let’s see if Coal can keep himself from jabbing that spear through Mr Assholes eyeball
The big question!
You’re supposed to “beep” him on the nose, like the native americans do. It’s way more insulting than actually hitting someone…
…what??
Counting Coup is what I think they’re referencing.

Coal, they’re not the droids you’re looking for.
Thank goodness Coal doesnt have the Force with him… imagine the Carnage D:
He would be so easy to use the Force on.
I suspect that there is a reason Ibrahim is being dragged along to see this.
Oh ho ho ho!
A most timely interruption. Bet Geirr really needs a change of clothing now.
Quite conveniently, he brought his brown trousers
But will he live long enough to get one??
I stopped reading for a year and coming back to this feels amazing. Thank you for continuing with this great story.
Aw, thank you so much! I’m glad you came back.
My pleasure.

That tone of command, but using Coal’s nickname, not his real name? (Am I remembering this wrong?) Still, it worked.
Still, very much a parent move, using his first (nick)name and surname. What a good fake uncle Loki is.
Yes, Coal is his nickname still.
