Whoa! Coal, eyes!! Please, I’m nervous to ask this, but am I seeing “dramatic moment, don’t overthink it,” or “pick up the latest clue for the ongoing meaningful changes-to-characters’-eyes worldbuilding puzzle for the reader?”

What Jua said – those eyes are ….wha? I can’t quite tell if they’re even his original green. Cool effect.
Oh ho ho ho! And yes they’re slightly different from his original eyes: the outline is still gray.
Happy Coal = less influence from Odin. Thus his green eyes come back. In my opinion. Probably wrong though….

I’m thinking his village missed out on a good young man when he died. Coal is a nice person when he isn’t grumpy. Gotta wonder if his murderous Uncles had anything to do with his death too.
