Oh my god, the fact that he just looks so pleased with himself in that last panel sent me into stifled gigglefits. (Stifled, because it’s going on 3 AM over here, and I alas, do not live alone.)
Best expression ever.
Well, that and Thor’s “fzzt” expression in the last chapter.
Neat x3 Nice to finally see a take on Loki where he still has all his trickster goodness (apparently, don’t let me down O_o ) (There are so few nowadays. actually, the only other instance I know would be ‘Valhalla’ )
This page is just so awesome. Hehe, I keep coming back to it and it keeps making me laugh. Are Coal’s gray eyes filling up more of his eyes because they’re in a shady forest in this scene?
Thanks! The amount of gray that shows up in Coal’s eyes varies depending on what I want to show and doesn’t normally mean anything. Sometimes the whole eye is gray, other times it’s close around his pupil. It’s just however I want it to look most of the time. XD
I must confess that I wasn’t completely sold on your portrayal of Loki at first. I had always pictured him as a handsome young man (silly mythology fangirl that I am!). However, his charm, his wit, his almost child-like glee at his own mischief-making is just so, well, LOKI that it didn’t take me long to warm up to him! :-} I really love the face in the last panel, btw. Great work!
Wow, thank you! One of my fears when I first started was certainly how people would react to my portrayal of Loki. He’s probably the most popular Norse figure (if not the most well known), and has been reinterpreted so many times. In the end I decided not to worry about it and just write him how I wanted, and luckily so far people seem to like him. I’m glad you do too! 😀 Thank you so much for reading!
Pffffft, Loki! That last panel is wonderful XD
Thanks! It’s probably my favorite. X3
Bwahaha, Loki is awesome and amusingly expressive!
Also, Loki is a badass because he almost caused Coal’s eyes to asplode.
Yeah, Coal is always so stoic and “D:<" that drawing Loki allows me the chance to draw more fun expressions. Thank you! 😀
“Who, what? Oh that! Yep! :3”
“…”
THAT JUST MADE ME LOL SO HARD. XD You are awesome and you will keep updating. I command thee. *shot*
Haha, worry not, I will. I’m glad you liked it! Thanks!
I see a lot of opportunities for making funny icons (facebook, AIM, etc.) on this page.
Hahaha! There certainly are. XD
