Ooooh, this is an amazing page spread. You can just imagine the size of the place they’re at.

Haha, yeah it’s small and hard to see! He’s actually laying along the bulwark. It’ll be easier to see in the next page. XD

How often is the comic updated?

    • Sarah
      November 18, 2010, 6:48 pm | # | Reply

It’s updated every Thursday (or Thor’s Day!). At least that’s the plan, but I haven’t missed an update yet. 😉

“If you look to your left, ladies and gentlemen, you’ll see a foggy fjord. If you look to your right, you’ll see the island of Avalon.”

Flippin’ heck, Sarah, you can really do “epic” when you need to…
So how long do we have to wait for Ragnarok? 😉

BTW, I felt compelled by a strange force to nominate you for The Webcomic List Awards… even being a minor artist has its uses! 🙂

Thank you so much! And let’s see…one page a week. 52ish weeks in a year, so 52 pages a year. On average chapters will probably by 23 pages (though the Ragnarok one will be at least twice as long). So about two chapters a year maybe. There’s 43 planned chapters, which adds up to about 21 years. 😀 Of course I’m hoping that at some point I can work on TMK far more than I’m able to now, so hopefully it won’t take that long. XD

Incidentally, just to clarify for anyone reading my earlier comment, I meant that I’m the minor artist, not Sarah! That’s what comes of trying to write comments in the wee small hours…

Wow, this page really is epic! You’re really good at backgrounds. That’s something that, like I’ve told you before, I’m still working on. I think you’re mastered scale too.

And yeah, you totally deserve a nomination.

Awww, thank you! Backgrounds are actually my biggest bane. Organic, natural backgrounds are kind of easy, you can get away with more weirdness. I’ve yet to really dig into any urban backgrounds, but that’ll be coming up in a few chapters so I better get the shovel ready.
